"Printable" can mean two very different things here, and this tool covers both:
- Paper printing — download a high-resolution PNG or a scalable SVG, print it on a flyer, poster, sticker sheet, or any regular printer.
- 3D printing — download a two-color 3MF or STL file and print the QR code embossed on a physical object: a table stand, keychain, or wall plaque.
Paper is faster for something temporary or one-off. A 3D-printed piece is worth the extra step for anything that needs to last — a menu stand that stays on the table for years, a wall plaque at an entrance, a keychain that gets carried around.

Frequently asked questions
Should I print my QR code on paper or in 3D?
Paper (PNG/SVG) is faster and works fine for a one-off flyer, a poster, or something temporary. A 3D-printed object is worth it for anything permanent — a table stand, a wall plaque, a keychain — since it survives handling, spills and time far better than paper.
What resolution should I use for a printed PNG?
The PNG download is high resolution (1024×1024 px) by default, which prints sharply at typical poster and flyer sizes. For very large prints, the SVG download scales to any size with no quality loss.
Does a 3D-printed QR code scan as reliably as a paper one?
Yes, as long as the module size and color contrast are within the tool's recommended range — it checks both live and warns you before you download.
Is my link uploaded anywhere when I generate the code?
No. Everything — QR generation, styling, and the 3D file creation — happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
